The National Crime Agency leads the UK's fight against serious and organised crime. It operates across the world, and has the mandate and powers to work in partnership with domestic and international law enforcement agencies to relentlessly pursue serious criminals and disrupt organised crime. The NCA responds on a 24/7 basis, targeting the criminals, groups and threats posing the biggest risk to the UK.
The NCA also works with partners to deliver information campaigns to:
- prevent people from engaging in criminal activity;
- protect the public from criminal activity; and
- prepare the public to reduce the impact of criminal activity.
